The service

GSD Index provides German Shepherd profiles, competition records, educational articles and owner listing services. Accounts and submissions must be made by adults with authority to represent the dog’s owner. Keep your account secure and provide accurate information.

We are not a breed registry, event sanctioning body, veterinarian or party to a dog sale or breeding agreement. Confirm entry requirements and schedules with organizers and health or breeding decisions with qualified professionals. Records may be incomplete or change; report errors through our free support channel.

What the badge means

GSD Index owner verified means our team reviewed evidence linking the applicant to the dog or its owner. It is our ownership-review label. It is not AKC, GSDCA, USCA, SV or WUSV certification, a legal ownership judgment, a health guarantee, or confirmation of every title and pedigree field.

Event results retain their event and class context. GSD Index ratings use our published methodology. Payment never improves a rank, guarantees approval or makes a dog an official organization award winner. Organization names are used descriptively; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Listings, claims & payment

A new dog-index listing is $2 USD once for the life of that dog. Claiming an existing profile is a separate $2 USD one-time service; a claim does not also require the new-listing fee. After evidence review and any required payment, the service includes an owner badge, website link and the ability to submit updates for review. There is no recurring fee for these two options.

Checkout is currently closed. Applications can be submitted without a charge; submission alone does not publish or verify a profile. Each stud advertisement is a separate $7 USD annual subscription, renewing automatically each year until cancelled. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the next charge; the paid term continues until its end. Email support@gsdindex.com for cancellation help. Applying does not start a subscription or authorize a charge. The proposed annual account subscription is not an active offer.

Lifetime describes the dog’s lifetime while GSD Index operates, not an unconditional guarantee that the platform will exist forever. If a paid service cannot be provided, the refund policy applies. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.

Your content & review

Submit only information you are entitled to provide and photographs you own or have permission to authorize. You retain your rights. You authorize GSD Index to store and review your submission and, after approval, display the approved dog information and photographs on its profile and listings. Private ownership documents are for review, not publication. This permission does not transfer copyright ownership to us.

Do not impersonate an owner, forge records, upload unrelated sensitive data or misuse another person’s work. We may ask for clarification, decline, correct or remove a submission, restrict abusive accounts or pause publication during a dispute. Repeated substantiated rights violations may lead to account restrictions. We will explain decisions where appropriate; email support to request review.

Changes, withdrawal & complaints

You can withdraw your owner application in your account. Use free support for corrections, disputed ownership, account deletion, service problems and rights complaints; a paid claim is never required for those reports. Public-source competition facts may remain after an owner listing is withdrawn, subject to accuracy, privacy and rights review.

Our privacy notice explains information handling, our refund policy explains payment remedies, and our rights page explains complaints. Updated terms carry an effective date. Changes to an existing paid service will be communicated where required and do not remove statutory rights.
